Can I get free prescriptions?
If you're under 19 and a full-time student you do not pay NHS charges. If you're aged 19 or over, there's a good chance you will be eligible for help with health costs (PDF) on the basis of your income.
You can apply for an exemption certificate by completing a HC1 form which is available from the Student Wellbeing Service reception in T Block, Kedleston Road.
