Occupational Health - Education and Applied Social Work Programmes
If you're about to become a student on one of the following programmes:
- BEd (Hons) Education
- PGCE Primary
- PGCE Further Education
- BA (Hons) Applied Social Work
You are required to complete a health questionnaire to establish your fitness for programme and placement.
The health questionnaire will be sent to you in an email (email address submitted on UCAS form) once a confirmed offer has been made. This is a confidential health questionnaire which is assessed by the health team.Any issues arising from this questionnaire will be discussed with you, medical evidence requested and an appointment made.
We are required to provide a health assessment to ensure that you are both physically and mentally fit to undertake the course of study. As an applicant on such a programme you will be expected to meet professional standards set by your chosen professional body and to meet the requirements which describe "fitness to teach" OR " fit for placement".
