Gastroenteritis
Gastroenteritis is an infection of the stomach and bowel. The most common symptoms are repeated episodes of diarrhoea (three or more episodes within the space of 24 hours) and vomiting.
Gastroenteritis is highly infectious. If you are living in shared accommodation and you or someone you are living with has gastroenteritis, you should pay extra attention to hygiene and cleanliness to prevent the spread of the infection.
You can find more information about gastroenteritis and how to treat it on the NHS Choices website.
If you do need medical help contact your GP practice or Derby Walk- in Centre.
