Love your mind

Did you know that your brain burns up one-fifth of the calories that you use? When you are a student you are asking your mind to do a lot of demanding things at once. Just as an athlete has to look after their whole body to get the best performance so too students have to look after their total wellbeing to get the best academic performance.

With this in mind the Student Wellbeing Service has taken feedback and good ideas from students and turned them into the LOVE YOUR MIND campaign...

A good diet, exercise, regular sleep and relaxation will all contribute to an improved academic performance and make it more likely that you will enjoy uni life. You can find advice on looking after yourself on the love your mind sections of this website for prospective students and for current students.

Love your mind workshops

During the year we will be running a number of workshops designed to help you improve your wellbeing and academic performance.
