University of Derby prize draw rules
You could win £250, a Kindle Fire or an Amazon voucher
We're encouraging students who live in private accommodation to do the survey. Just by completing the survey you will automatically be entered into the Derby prize draw.
1. The competition is only open to persons :
(a) aged 18 or over
(b) w ho have completed the survey
(c) who have re turned it with a valid email address for notification purposes
2. No purchase is necessary
3. The draw is not open to employees or staff of the University of Derby or their agents, families or partners.
4. All entrants must accept these rules. In the event of any dispute about the rules, the dispute will be handled by the Operations Director at University of Derby Student Living whose decision will be final.
5. No more than one entry per person is allowed.
6. The prizes to be won in the University of Derby draw are: first prize £250 cash, second prize Kindle Fire, third prize: £25 Amazon voucher. Prizes described anywhere else are not administered by the University of Derby and are covered by their own rules.
7. The winning entry will be selected at random from the valid and complete surveys submitted by midnight on 31 May. The draw will take place within 7 days of this date.
8. No late, delayed or lost entries will be considered. Proof of entry is not proof of receipt.
9. The winner will be notified by email to the email address they supplied with their entry. If they do not claim their prize and have their entry validated within one month of notification, they forfeit their prize and another random winner will be selected in their place.
10. Physical prizes will be sent by post. Cash prizes will be sent in the form of a postal cheque, paypal payment or by bank transfer. Cash prizes will be paid in UK currency only.
11. The name of the winner, their age range and gender information will be available on request after 1 August by emailing s.maguire@derby.ac.uk. For data protection reasons no "personally identifiable" data about the winner will be given.
