I'm working with a fantastic team at the Centre for Supply Chain Improvement at Derby Business School. Derby Business School has a long-standing record as a Centre of Excellence in the area of supply chain and logistics. We specialise in delivering business improvements in supply chains, logistics, manufacturing and a wide range of business areas.
I believe that creativity plays a central role in enabling businesses to streamline their processes, identify latent business opportunities, develop innovative business ideas, solve business problems innovatively and remain competitive. I'm passionate about creativity and innovation and I have expertise in the use of various creativity techniques particularly TRIZ (Theory of Inventive Problem Solving) to facilitate creative problem solving in various business areas.

I have been involved in a number of collaborative projects with businesses particularly, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs).
Encore Environment Ltd: To develop a framework for evaluating new projects to enable Encore and their customers to understand the Costs, CO2 and CSR implications of different waste management scenarios in terms of waste collection, transportation, reprocessing, recycling and/or landfilling Grant value £121,255.
IPI Ltd (Integrated Process Improvement): To develop a robust method for analysing a supply chain in any industry with a view to developing a tailored solution for exchange of information and reporting - Grant value £137,113 (terminated due to lack of suitable KTP Associate).
Logistex Ltd: To develop and implement an intelligence-based new supply chain business development process, coupled with adaptable process and workflow management systems to support and sustain current and future growth - Grant value £124,467 (terminated due to lack of suitable KTP Associate).
