My role is as a Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy on the MSc Occupational Therapy (Pre-Reg), BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy and post graduate Occupational Therapy modules. Thus I have a teaching commitment throughout all levels of the course. Additionally to this I provide guidence as a personal tutor and Independant Study primary advisor.
I lead the first year practice placement module, as part of the practice placement team I provide support to students and clinicians within clinical placement settings during the practice placements. As well as tutoring clinicians through their APPLE accredititation assignments.
I have a great passion for my profession particularly social care aspects and environmental design.
I lead two stage 4 modules one teaching the core skill of Activity Analysis and the other preparing students for clinical placement.
I am Stage lead for the MSc(pre reg) programme.
I module lead a post graduate module for qualified Occupational Therapists in practice in the community
I am developing an interest in the area of cancer care and the promotion of Occupational Therapy practice in this area.

I have presented at the College of Occupational Therapists nationwide conference on several occasions, including 2011, 2013 and most recently in June 2015. The topics prsented have covered my MSc research, academic role of admistions tutor and most recently presenting a service users perspective of treatment.
Inclusive design assessor for the Civic Trust since 2005.
