Senior Lecturer in Psychology

I teach mainly on biological psychology modules. I also have a level 5 Philosophical Psychology module and two level 6 options, Schizophrenia and Neuropsychology.

My main area for undergraduate project supervision is in the area of body image.

Professional interests

I am Psychology's outreach liaison which means that I am the link person between the university and local schools and colleges.

I am an A level examiner for AQA and am a committee member of the Association for the Teaching of Psychology.

I am involved in authoring texts for A level psychology

Research interests

I am somewhat eclectic in my research interests. Having started life as a neuroscientist, I still have an interest in biologically oriented research. However, my main research interest is now focused on body image.
