About

Kevin is responsible for the Law and International Relations subject areas and contributes to the work of the International Policing and Justice Institute of which he was the founding Director.

Teaching responsibilities

Kevin has taught extensively on Undergraduate and Postgraduate Law programmes, but now mostly teaches on highly specialised programmes, including intelligence, human rights and radicalisation, the law of modern slavery, forensics, administration of justice and advanced lawyers skills.

As well as receiveing several awards for teaching, he was the first member of the University of Derby's staff to have been judged to have met the Higher Education Academy's Standard Descriptor 3 and was three times nominated by the Unviersity for a National Teaching Fellowship.
