About

Muhammad Farhan Khan is a KTP research associate at the Institute of Innovation in Sustainable Engineering (IISE) University of Derby, working in partnership with Icon Aerospace Technology Ltd. The aim of the project is to innovate and grow the production capabilities of the company using state of the art design and manufacturing methods. He has a background in mechanical engineering. Before joining Derby University he has worked on structural design optimisation of a medical device at the University of Nottingham where he was a member of the additive manufacturing and 3D printing research group (AM3DPRG). He holds a masters degree in engineering from Loughborough University.
