Professional interests
My practice is as a designer with particular expertise in book design and illustration. I have taught at the University since 1998 and established the MA in Visual Communication in 2010, Master of Design awards in 2009 and the Animation strand of the Visual Communication area in 2003. I am also an External Examiner at the University of Bedfordshire and the University of Lincoln.
Research interests
As a key member of the Design and Visual Communication Research Group I design, edit and produce The Observatory, an artists' collective publication exploring and responding to the contemporary visual world.
