John Goto teaches at undergraduate, MA and PhD levels, and is Director of D-MARC Digital and Material Arts Research Centre at the University of Derby.
Professional interests
Goto is a prolific and highly respected photo-digital artist. He has used computers in his art since the early '90s, concentrating on historical subjects as well as often satirical accounts of contemporary society. He has held solo London exhibitions at Tate Britain, The National Portrait Gallery and Photographers' Gallery, and exhibited widely in Europe. He is currently represented by galleries in Paris, Munich and Seoul.
