I am a programme leader at the University for the Post Qualifying Higher Specialist Award in Interprofessional Practice Education (Social Work)
I am also a module leader on other programmes

Teaching responsibilities
I teach communication skills on the Social Work programme in year two and also on the Social Care programme in year one. I also teach developing innovation and learning assessing and teaching around practie education on the post graduate programme.
Professional interests
I qualified as a social worker in 1986, and have worked in both residential and community based areas of social work.
My experience has been predominately with children and in particular within the field of child protection. My interests are in promoting and developing practice learning opportunities especially within inter professional groups and in child protection
My interests are around the subjects of communication and in particular interprofessional communication. My professional background is in child protection.
