I am the Programme Leader and Admissions Tutor for the BA (Hons) in Applied Community and Youth Work.
Teaching responsibilities
I teach the following modules:
- Inequalities: Social Structures and Experience
- Reflective Practice
- Self, Culture and Identity
I am a personal tutor which involves students' academic and professional development and placement support and assessment
I am an Independent Study supervisor
Professional interests
I am interested in curriculum development for preparing students for community and youth work. In particular I am interested in the processes involved in enabling students to be come effective learners and reflective practitioners.
