Experience in Industry
I have practised as a Solicitor in Derby since 1997 working initially for Alexander & Co and from 2000 until 2011, for Robinsons Solicitors advising on employment, charity and commercial issues. I work presently as a Consultant for Attenborough Law advising on employment and hr related matters. My expertise lies in identifying commercial solutions, negotiating and resolving disputes.

I deliver a variety of Employment Law modules for the Law andBusiness Schools at the University of Derby to under graduate students and post graduate HR Managers. I also teach the Employment Law elective on the Legal Practice Course at Derby forthe University of West England. I combine teaching with practice as a Solictor in Derby and bring a wealth of practical experience and expertise to my role as a tutor on the Advanced Legal Skills and Context module for LL.b students. As Secretary of the Education and Training Sub-Committee for Derby & District Law Society I co-ordinate the hugely popular and successful Annual Skills Triathlon organised by the University of Derby and Derby & District Law Society.
