My role is as a Lecturer in Occupational Therapy on the under graduate programme, teaching on modules throughout the three year course. At present I am module leader for a second year module called Applied Occupational Therapy. Additionally to this I provide guidence as a personal tutor and Independant Study primary advisor.
As part of the practice placement team I provide support to students and clinicians within clinical placement settings during the practice placements. As well as tutoring clinicians through their APPLE accredititation assignments.
In the past year I have taken on the postion as stage 4 leader, inducting and supporting the new first year students onto the programme.

Member of the College of Occupational Therapists.
Member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists, Education representative for the university of Derby on the Trent regional BAOT committee
