My role at the University of Derby is to help and support students from the Faculty of Business, Computing and Law whilst they are searching for a placement during their second year of studies and also when they are out on placement.

Teaching responsibilities

I lecture on both the preparation for placement modules for both computing and business students.  I also hold placement clinics for students who would like advice and support in securing a placement.

Membership of professional bodies and advisory committees

I am a member of the executive committe of PlaceNet which is a group of placement professionals from universities from around the country.  I am also a member of ASET and the Association of University Administrators.

Additional Interests and Activities

As well as helping students I am also studying for an HND in Business and Management.
