Teaching responsibilities
For the MSc in Environmental Health I am module leader for 'Environmental Health Impacts - the workplace & food' , I contribute to the 'Environmental Policy & Law' and 'Environmental Health in Practice' modules. I also contribute to the IOA Diploma in Accoustics.

Additional Interests and Activities
As I only hold a part time post at Derby ( 0.4) I have various other interests to keep me occupied. I am a partner in a drama/theatre-in-education company 'Jestaminute' . This offers drama workshops for fun and education, and uses drama as a tool to investigate a variety of issues. We were funded by the Wellcome Trust to investigate the use of drama as a tool for engaging young people in the science of obesity, and are currently being funded by Worcestershire Health Improvement Fund to explore issues around high rates of under 18 conceptions. I am chair of the local Arts partnership in Redditch where I live. I am also a sessional lecturer at Birmingham University (where I hold an Honorary post) and at Nottingham Trent University.
