Providing inspiring education through high quality teaching, using professional, work based experience in order to help students develop their knowledge and understanding in accounting and audit.
Teaching responsibilities
- Undertake teaching and programme delivery within the Subject Area to strengthen and widen the portfolio of activities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Direct teaching input on undergraduate accounting and finance degree programmes (Financial Accounting and Audit and Assurance modules) and the professional accounting programmes (ACCA P1 and P7, CIMA P3).
- Responsibility for writing examinations and assessments for the first and second year accounting and audit modules.
- Act as a personal tutor and independent study supervisor and take part in recruitment, interviewing, admissions and marketing events.
