I am a full time LRC Assistant at Buxton, a post I have held for 9 years.
In my role within the University, I have had daily experience in helping staff and students access our library and learning resources and services, and enjoyed watching our students grow in confidence and learning.
As well as providing a friendly frontline service, I also assist with the administrative tasks of the Library.
Prior to this I worked in a University Careers department, within the NHS and with street homeless people, as well as spending time working as a teacher and curriculum designer in non-formal education in India.
Additional Interests and Activities
I am an Environmental Champion for BLIS.
I deal with Interlibrary loan requests at Buxton.
