I'm a stage leader for the MSc pre-registration programme in occupational therapy and teach on both the MSc and BSc (Hons) programmes.
Teaching responsibilities
A range of modules across the MSc pre-registration programme and BSc (Hons) programme including Foundations and Principles of Occupational Therapy, Research, Governance and Evidence Based Practice & An introduction to OT through Independent Learning.
Professional interests
My educational interests include the use of e-learning within higher education and practice placement education. In a previous research post I carried out an evaluation of the use of standing frames for children with cerebral palsy. I have continued this interest in the use of assistive technology with children through the foundation of a standing network which brings together clinicians using such equipment to encourage best practice.
Research interests
Peer support during practice placement education.
