Supporting the Faculty and School vison:
Part of my role is ensuring that Derby Business School's work in the wider business community is knowledge based, insightful and that it contributes to individual and organisational goals. I am always keen to engage students in learning that is relevant and applicable to the organisations in which they work. My research is focused upon generating and communicating knowledge that can be applied to make demonstrable difference to organisations but which also contributes to the currency of the School's programmes.
Teaching responsibilities
My main teaching is in the area of organisational behaviour and HRM which includes subjects related to how people are managed and developed in organisations. I have also taught Corporate Social Responsibility and Business Ethics on Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes. Additional Interests and Activities
I am passionate about learning and development which is underpinned by high quality research and application of knowledge. Personally, I am passionate about learning new things and developing new knowledge which is why research and investigation are so important to me. There is always something new to learn, something new to experience, a different view to consider and that's what excites me.
