Experience in Industry
I worked as a Diagnostic Radiographer for nearly 10 years before moving into higher education. During my clinical time I worked at Nottingham City Hospital, Derbyshire Royal Infirmary & Leicester Royal Infirmary, so I have lots of links in the departments we send our students too.

I am a Senior Lecturer in Imaging, and Admissions Tutor for the BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography. I have worked at the University since February 2006, and before that worked as Diagnostic Radiographer for approx. 10 years. I enjoy the interaction I have with both students on the course, and prospective students seeking advice.
Teaching responsibilities
Module Leader for Working as a Professional, Systems Anatomy & Imaging Practice 2, Technology 3 and Integrated Practice 2 (clinical placement module for phase 2).
Professional interests
CT and MRI scanning; Cross Sectional Anatomy; Professional Issues; Clinical Governance; Communication.
Research interests
The use of Problem Based Learning in Health education. The use of Technology Enhanced Learning methodologies in HE.
