I have extensive experience within the FE/HE sector as a lecturer and manager, I was appointed to the University in 2001 as the Curriculum Partnership Manager, the first point of contact for collaborative curriculum developments for the University of Derby and partners.
I work closely with new and existing partners in my role as Academic Partnership Manager in the School of Flexible and Partnership Learning both in the development of collaborative partnerships and increasing progression opportunities to HE for both UK and overseas students.
I'm an experienced practitioner who is keen to share my enthusiasm for learning, teaching and assessment. To this end I facilitate a series of staff development opportunities for collaborative partners working in conjunction with colleagues in the Faculties, Staff Development and the Department of Learning Enhancement and Innovation.
Teaching responsibilities
Supporting the Life Long Learning Scheme.
Professional interests
All aspects of collaborative provision, staff development and CPD, widening participation, progression agreements, Foundation degrees, work-based learning and internationalisation.

Progression from Foundation degrees, academic partnerships and the student experience
