I teach on a variety of modules on the BA in Outdoor Activity Coaching and Leadership, Joint Honours schemes and Foundation Degree in Outdoor Activities.

Teaching responsibilities

I teach on Modern Technologies in Outdoor Activities L4, Water Based Actvities L5, L5 and Outdoor Activity Leadership L6, Development Training L5. Advanced Mountain Skills.

Research interests

  • The use of Outdoor Programmes by Industry as part of Apprentice Schemes.
  • The impacts on young people of overseas expeditions.
  • Postmodern perspectives on adventure.
