Experience in Industry
Born in Yorkshire, I studied contemporary art in Nottingham. I specialise in moving image and gained a BA Hons in 1994.
Currently I work as Directer of Photography on mainly drama and documentary films.
I've worked on the British cult classic Dead Mans Shoes and directed In Shane's Shoes for Channel 4 about feature film director Shane Meadows.
I've also directed and shot numerous commercial and promotional films. Clients have included Disney Junior Channel, Channel 4, ITV, Warp Films, Optimum Releasing, fashion designer Paul Smith, The Forestry Commission, tailors Whitcomb and Shaftesbury, The Youth Hostels Association, NHS, Leicestershire Road Safety Campaign, The University of Derby, 'The Gob Squad' theatre company, The Arts Council, Nottingham City and County Council and Derby City and County Council.
I'm an expert in using the latest digital cinema cameras from RED. I'm advanced level Apple Certified Trainer in Final Cut Pro (Editing) and a BBC Trained Camera Operator.
