I have held a range of posts over the 25 years whilst employed within the Catering Industry.I have worked at the Savoy Hotel, London. Gleneagles, Scotland. Three years with Trust house Forte Hotels and Grand Metropolitan. Two years as kitchen manager for Royal London Assurance head office
I have worked for the University of Derby since 2006

I have entered many Culinary competitions during my career and have achieved numerous accolades and awards
Research interests
I am keen on research with particular emphasis on recipe development and the implementation of these and new technology into teaching and training in line with current industry standards.

One year contract as senior chef garde manger at the Chicago beach Hotel, Dubai, UAE
