I am a pyschodynamically influenced occupational therapist, who has worked in Higher Education and Adult Mental Health for over 25 years.

Teaching responsibilities

These include normal and abnormal psychological development and the occupational therapists application of psycho - social approaches.

Professional interests

As an educator I have researched into the relationship between students cognitive appraisal and their self esteem. I have presented and lead group work at national and international levels. I have a personal interest in the interface between Kleinian object relation theory and Calvinistic Protestantism.

Additional Interests and Activities

In my leisure time I enjoy walking and watching my beloved Newcastle United.
