Research interests
James Corazzo is a graphic design educator (and book designer). My research interests are in design education, particularly the focus on developing a constructivist approach - where students are engaged 'in a continuous collaborative process of building and reshaping understanding as a natural consequence of their experiences and interactions within learning environments that authentically reflect the world around them' Grabinger and Dunlap (2006: 1) I have undertaken a number of projects that explore learning at the intersection of education and industry including the Thoughtful Six project that was short listed for a Times Higher Award and a BBC Innovation award in 2009.
