I am a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader in the area of Forensic Computing, Networks and Security.

I am responsible for co-ordinating DISC (Derbyshire Information Security Consortium), this is an important intiative linking industry, students and the University through a series of special guest lectures and seminars

Digital Investigation, Advanced Computer Investigation, Information Security Principles, Network Security, Advanced Security Protocols

Forensic Computing, Security and Networks

Research interests

Information Security and Digital Forensics.

I supervise a number of dissertations (primarily at MSc level) on the above topics. I publish a list of dissertation proposals for students to 'select from' and these are available on request.

Additional Interests and Activities

I am a recognised English speaking Sikh preacher and appear regularly on a Sikh TV Channel. I am the director of an Indian Music academy which currently has 160 students and am the principle conductor of the 'Gurmat Sangeet Orchestra'.
