Denis O’Connor works with the medium of sculpture in a variety of Public, and Studio based contexts. He has undertaken a number of Commissions, Residencies and Exhibitions, some of which have allowed Denis to make work for urban and rural sites within Public and Private sectors.

Commissioned work has been produced for The Royal Mail, J. Sainsbury's, Asda, The National Stone Centre, Cork Corporation, Derby City Council, The National Building Association Of Ireland, West Meath County Council amongst others. Residences have included working with The National Trust, Jaguar Cars and The National Sculpture Factory. Studio work has been exhibited at The City Gallery, Leicester, West Cork Arts Centre, Skibbereen, The Sirus Arts Centre, Cobh and Limerick City Art Gallery. Denis is presently working on two commissions for Limerick County Council/National Roads Authority of Ireland and Cluid Housing Association, Sligo.
