Experience in Industry
I have worked for a number of years within Primary Health Care. In more recent years I had a responsibility for managing the Quality and Outcomes Framework, ensuring the delivery of a range of enhanced services and leading work in service evaluation and development as part of the Practice Based Commissioning policy.

Teaching responsibilities
I teach across a range of undergraduate modules as well as teaching at postgraduate level as part of the MSc Health Psychology. I am responsible for undergraduate modules in Health Psychology and the Psychology of Illness and postgraduate modules in the Psychology of Chronic Conditions.
Research interests
My research interests centre around primary health care and lifestyle interventions such as smoking cessation, long term condition management (with particular reference to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and issues such as appropriate use of health care services.

Additional Interests and Activities
I am currently undertaking a (stage II) Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology, supervised by Dr Mark Forshaw.
