The Early Modern Period: especially Shakespeare, Webster, Middleton and Marlowe. Early Modern Women's Writing: particularly Margaret Cavendish, Aemilia Lanyer, Mary Wroth, Mary Sidney and Katherine Phillips. Margaret Atwood, Sarah Waters and Angela Carter. Shakespeare and technology-enhanced learning.
Research interests
Early Modern Women's Writing, especially royal and noble coteries and the movement from Catholicism to Protestantism; female spiritual autobiographies.
International Experience
Teaching in France and PR China.
