I work within the Postgraduate Studies area of the School of Education and Social Sciences and teach upon the EdD programme. I also have managerial responsibility for Level 7 work in the area (MA Education). Additionally I have the role of postgraduate tutor across the Faculty of Education, Health and Sciences which involves coordinating the postgraduate student experience.
Teaching responsibilities
I am a:
- Tutor on Doctor of Education and Master of Education courses.
- Supervisor of doctoral research in relevant areas.
Professional interests
My professional interests are psychology within education, counselling and education.
Research interests
My research interests include:
- Students who are mothers returning to Higher Education
- The development of self-esteem in Access students
- Homophobic bullying in schools
