Researching The Social World; Sociological Research Methods 1: Qualitative and Quantitative Techniques; Sociological Research Methods 2: Methods in Practice.

Research interests

My interests lie in (Comparative) Political Behaviour; Public Opinion and Political Attitudes. In particular, I am interested in the following areas:

- Generational differences in political behaviour and attitudes;
- Vote-switching and electoral change;
- Gender differences in political knowledge, interest and participation;
- Attitudes to the EU;
- Nationalist parties and identities;
- Political parties and membership.

In addition, I am currently a co-investigator on the following research projects:

"The determinants of radical left parties' electoral support in Western Europe"
