Currently tutoring on Change Management (Lev. 6) and Managing the Dynamic Organisation (PG), plus I recently engaged via HIEC funding to work with Nott'm & Notts mental health services on a 'Lean' Improvement programme.

I am interested in Management & Leadership, Organisational Change, Business Process Engineering (BPR), Business Improvement, Change Management, Systems Thinking

Business and organisational improvement (inc. BPR, systems thinking), Leadership - no current 'projects'.

I am a member of the Ashbourne Surgery's Patient Participation Group. I have also been a Business Mentor for the Prince's Trust for eleven years.

Additional Interests and Activities
I am a founding member of 'Sytoc Organisational Change research group - the Derby Business School's only formally registered research group.
For almost 50 years I have been an active member of the Midland Canoe Club, and have been its President for the last decade. My primary interests are kayaking on the sea, and have a number of 'firsts' to my credit, e.g. 1st unescorted, single-seat kayak crossing of the southern Irish Sea (St George's Channel) in 1972, 1st non-stop circumnavigation of the Isle of Anglesey in 1973, and first person to complete all three Irish Sea crossings (south, north and centre) by kayak, in 1996 (having completed the northern crossing in 1986). I have also kayaked out to the Isles of Scilly from Land's end, and circumnavigated the Isle of Wight three times. I am also a qualified UKCC Level 2 coach.
I also enjoy walking (with or without my dogs) and cycling with my wife, reading, and am a member of the Ashbourne Speed Skating Club.
