Avoid the late stamp!
We're not mean at the Student Support Centre, we do empathise that traffic can be bad and printers invariably don't work when you need them most and, if you're submitting electronically, your computer might have crashed at the pinnacle hour. Unfortunately, no matter what the issue (and we've heard a few!) we still need to be fair to everyone. If your work is submitted one minute passed the deadline time, we have to mark your work as 'Late'. This will mean that no matter how good your work is, you won't be graded any higher than a D minus (if it's handed in up to a week late).
So make sure you check our opening times and bring your assignment to us well before time to avoid the late stamp.
You'll need:
- A plastic wallet or folder for your work
- To mark any CD's with your Student ID number, module code and marking tutor
- An assignment front sheet, fully completed with folding tabs stuck down to conceal your name
- And finally, you must be in the queue before the deadline cut off time!
Not able to get in to Uni?
That's ok; if you study at the Derby campus you can post your assignment to us at:

This will need to be with us prior to the deadline date and we advise that you post your assignment using a method of recorded delivery.
What about submitting electronically?
All text based assignments at level 4 need to be handed in electronically. Your deadline time is Thursday, 9pm.
