Buxton Sports facilities have been improved to ensure that your experience on the sports courses in Buxton gives you all you'll need to be ready for your career, with lots of work opportunities to make sure that you have the experience you need when you graduate. Our sports facilities encompass a wide range of equipment within the fitness suite and sports lab, with purpose built classrooms and a fully equiped sports hall and climbing wall.
The development will offer you a flexible learning experience, where you will be able to draw on the local and regional sports clubs and community groups and you will be involved with the rugby and golf clubs in Buxton.
You'll also gain a professional qualification during your course which can be the Institute of Sport and Recreation Management Certificate or the British Cycling awards.

There are lots of practical sessions and field trips, so you'll be able to put theory into practice. Buxton and the Derbyshire Peak District is a fantastic setting for understanding and developing practical and managerial sport.
