Anita Smith studied Foundation Beauty and Spa, which is now Spa (Management/Therapies pathways), here at the University of Derby Buxton.
Anita studied on campus for the first year and then decided to study online with our e-learning option. This allowed Anita to fit her studies around her job and start her own business, Brighton Beauty, at the same time.
Anita said "The degree is great as it teaches all aspects of running your own business, from accounting to carrying out treatments and although it has taken a long time to complete I have found the course incredibly worth while. I now have a functioning business which has been running for 9 months and I have just taken on staff for the New Year. For anyone thinking of going into the beauty and spa industry I think this course is a must!"
