Shwop at Work Charity Campaign
Make A Space In Your Wardrobe And Give Your Clothes A Future!
Joanna Lumley launches Shwop at Work
We're trying to change the way the nation shops by asking everyone to donate some old clothing every time they go shopping - we call it Shwopping.

Oxfam has been working with rice farmers to help develop new and more efficient farming techniques in Cambodia
We're excited to be teaming up with Oxfam, Marks & Spencer and Business in the Community to bring 'Shwop at Work' to the University of Derby and University of Derby Buxton.
Shwopping is a campaign which gives unwanted clothes a future - all of the clothes staff and students bring in will be given to Oxfam to be resold, reused or recycled. The money raised will go to help support people living in poverty.
On Friday 19 April 2013 we'd love you to bring any items of clothing you no longer want and drop them off at either:
• The 'Shwop at Work' stand in the Atrium at Kedleston Road, Derby (open for donations from 10am - 3pm).
• The Reception Desk in the Devonshire Dome at Buxton (open for donations from 9am - 1pm).
In return for your clothing donations you'll receive a £5 M&S voucher*.
Can you believe, one billion items of clothing a year are sent to landfill - that's one in four items sold in the UK each year. The Shwopping campaign is trying to put an end to that so please raid your wardrobe and bring in your unwanted clothes on Friday 19 April!
*valid when you spend £35 or more in an M&S store on clothing or homeware
