Systems Thinking - A Better Way To Make The Work Work

10 February 2010

John Seddon

Due to popular demand we have extended this event and are now taking bookings to watch this lecture via a live video link in the lecture theatre next to the Courtrooom.

Inaugural lecture - Visiting Professor John Seddon, Faculty of Business, Computing and Law

Mankind invented management. Current management works but not very well; it needs re-inventing. John Seddon offers a detailed critique of current management thinking and proposes instead that we manage our organisations as systems. Those who follow his ideas achieve results beyond their imagination and learn many counter-intuitive truths - truths that challenge current assumptions.
