Our new sport facilities - Kirtley Building

We're proud of the excellent facilities that we can offer to our Sport and Exercise students at Derby

We've just invested £3.3million into our Kirtley Building which houses the majority of our Sport and Exercise facilities. Below you'll see a series of images:

Just some of the facilities in our new Kirtley Building:

  • Team Derby Fitness Gym
  • Specialist strength and conditioning area
  • Two physiology laboratories with rowing ergometers and physiology anaysis equipment
  • Team Derby performance research and consultancy laboratory with gas and blood analysers
  • Dance studio with floor to ceiling mirrors and also a sprung floor
  • Kirtley hall with a large open space for practicals.
