I have really enjoyed my three years at Derby. The course and staff have been amazing and it's a wonderful surprise to have won an award for outstanding Independent Study.

  • Our BSc (Hons) Psychology and Psychology (Joint Honours) courses are accredited by the British Psychological Society, which marks the first step to becoming a professional psychologist.
  • Our BSc (Hons) Psychology (Online) course was the first online course in the UK to be accredited by the British Psychological Society, so we're really leading the way in flexible, high quality courses.
  • Our MSc Ergonomics online course is accredited by the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors as a qualifying course for Graduate Membership of the Institute.

  • We are one of the few UK universities that offer on campus and online modules that examine parapsychology and anomalous experiences as part of our psychology degrees.
  • You'll be taught by staff who are research active, both nationally and internationally. Whether you study on campus or online, you can be sure of lots of support from our team of highly qualified professionals.

  • There is also the option to complete a work placement where you can apply the theory that you'll learn in lessons, to real practical experience.
