Seismic Interpretation and Subsurface Mapping
This PowerPoint file illustrates how seismic data are acquired, processed, interpreted and combined with other data to map the subsurface. If time permits, the principles can be applied in a practical exercise available as a master set of A3 seismic images. Further explanation and details of related A level learning outcomes are given in Teaching Earth Sciences v.32.2 (2007).
