Emergency services day
During August 2011, our forensic science team attended The Emergency Services Day event at Crich Tramway Museum.
Crich played host to a large number of ex service vehicles from fire engines, police cars and ambulances. These were used to great effect during the day, as mock scenarios were created including a building fire and a series of escapology events.
A mock crime scene was set up by our forensic science team in the exhibition hall and parents and children of all ages enjoyed discovering about the fascinating world of Forensic Science and getting their fingerprints taken and preserved in a University of Derby keyring.
