Graduate teaching assistant studentship in Green Logistics System

This studentship is funded by Derby Business School, Faculty of Business, Computing and Law (BCL), University of Derby and provides an opportunity for a graduate to undertake a 3-year programme of research leading to the award of PhD, in the subject of Green Logistics System.

Based at the University of Derby's main Kedleston Road site, the PhD will be supervised by Dr. Ming Lim (Head of Centre for Supply Chain Improvement) and Dr. Tony Anisoke, and will be undertaken on a full-time basis over three years.

The studentship will cover tuition fees at the Home/EU level, and will pay a bursary of £14,100 per annum (p.a.).  There is also – subject to satisfactory progress – an extra £1,000 p.a. for professional development purposes. Fees for International (non-EU) Students will not be met by the Studentship. Non-EU students would be responsible for paying top-up fees to the relevant level.

If appointed, and as part of your professional development, you may be asked to teach and/or demonstrate lab sessions for up to 6 hours per week.

** Where appropriate, for Research programmes an IELTS level of 7.0 or better is required (please note we don't accept the TOEFL qualification). Copies of your IELTS certificate must accompany your application, and it must be a recent qualification (gained within the last 2 years).
