Looking at the effect of the suicide of a parent on children and families

Caroline Simone, a doctoral student, is exploring the grief and despair of losing a parent through suicide, with the support of a national suicide bereavement association.

She is talking to people affected by such tragedies, and has presented her work at a British Sociological Symposium and the 8th International Conference of Death, Dying and Disposal.
