Masters in Education: Careers Learning Pathway

Staff and computuer

The School of Education at the University of Derby created a brand new pathway to the Masters in Education

This has been developed in response to recent Government policy which includes new duties for schools in delivering and commissioning programmes of career education, information, advice and guidance. This pathway is suitable for both managers in learning organisations who have responsibility for leading careers work in schools and those staff who are offering career development support to learners.

By studying the modules in the pathway those responsible for leading and delivering careers work in learning organisations will have gained the knowledge and practical skills required to fulfil their roles. The modules provide opportunities to develop new insight into careers work and for students to examine their own organisations provision against the best national and international practices.
