Project research studentship

When religious groups who themselves have "equalities" and "human rights" with regard to "religion or belief" act as "public bodies" or as employers/service providers to the general public, they have to take account of other equality and human rights laws and policies (eg. gender, and sexual orientation).

A project studentship is exploring these issues through a case study on "Religious Freedom and Sexual Orientation: Compatibility, Contestation and Convergence. The Case of Church-Related Adoption Agencies."
