Project objectives
As well as establishing a contemporary benchmark in scholarly studies, the project also aims to make an impact beyond the academy.
It will equip opinion-formers and policy-makers in public, private and voluntary and community sector organisations to develop their understanding, policy and practice on "equality" and "discrimination" in relation to "religion" and "belief" in a more evidence-based way. It will also inform the general public and aim to make a difference to public debates on these issues.
